August Twelfth Is Back With A Brand New Single For Cuffing Season

If you’ve heard songs from August like “M.L.Y.L.T” and “Marry Me” then you’ll know of August’s ability to bring a traditional R&B style on dancehall/afrobeat influenced instrumentals.

Discussing the creation of ‘Intimate’, August explains:

“Originally, ‘Intimate’ was written for another artist but the record ended up not being used so I felt it’s only right that I release it as my own single. I was sitting on the instrumental for a long time and it went overlooked until one day I played it randomly and inspiration just hit me. With the winter season approaching at the time of when I made it, I thought, I should create something people can vibe to in clubs but still kick back and chill to at home.”
